There were three ships nearby when the Titanic sank.
One of them was known as Sampson. It was 11 km from Titanic and he saw the white rockets to signal the danger, but as they had pursued the seal illegally and did not want to be caught, he turned and walked away from the Titanic. This ship represents those of us who are so busy with our sin and our lives that we can not recognize when another person is in need.(Moral Stories)

The next ship was the Californian. This ship was only 14 miles from the Titanic, but they were surrounded by pack ice and the captain looked and saw the white flares, but because the conditions were unfavourable and it was dark, he decided to go back to bed and wait until morning. The crew tried to persuade themselves that nothing was happening.. This ship represents those of us who say that I can not do anything now. Conditions are not good and we expect conditions to be perfect before going out.

The last ship was Carpathia. This ship was heading south 58 miles from the Titanic when they heard the cries of angst from the radio. The captain of this ship knelt down, begged God to give it direction, then turned and continued through the ice fields. It is the ship that saved the 705 survivors of the Titanic.(Moral Stories)

2.The Value Of A Copper Coin | Moral Stories



Mahatma Gandhi, very special person for india ,called as the father of india. The following story illustrates one of the reasons why he is called "Mahatma" (great soul).
Once, Gandhi was on an expedition to raise funds from various towns and villages to form a poor organization. He went to different places and finally reached Orissa. 

He organized a meeting in Orissa.
There, he gave a speech to the public, asking them to give him funds for the organization. At the end of his speech, a very old woman, with folded back, ragged clothes, white hair and shrunken skin, stood up. He asked the volunteers to allow them to reach Gandhi. However, the volunteers stopped her. She did not give up. He fought with them and reached Gandhi.
He touched Gandhi's feet. Then he took out a copper piece held in the folds of his sari and placed it at his feet. Then the old lady left the stage.

Gandhi took the piece very carefully. The treasurer of the organization for the poor asked Gandhi the copper coin, but he refused to give it.

"I keep checks for thousands of rupees," said the treasurer. "Still, you will not trust me with a piece of copper!"

Gandhi said: "This piece of copper is price heaps over thousands: if a person has many lakhs and offers one thousand it doesn’t mean a lot of.(Moral Stories)

The woman had nothing left with her without a coin. He did not even have proper clothes and could not afford to eat well. However, she gave everything. This is why Gandhi considered that money was very precious.(Moral Stories)

3.The Monkey And The Dolphin | Moral Stories



A day ago, the sailors went to the sea with their sailboat. One of them brought his domestic monkey for the long journey.(Moral Stories)

When they were far away, a terrible storm overturned their ship. Everyone fell into the sea and the monkey was sure it would be drowned. Suddenly a dolphin appeared and took him in his arms.

They quickly reached the island and the monkey descended from the back of the dolphin. The dolphin asked the monkey, "Did you know this place?"
The monkey replied: "Yes, I keow, the fact is, the king of this island is one of my best friend, do you know that ,I am actually a prince?"(Moral Stories)

Knowing that no one lived in this island, the dolphin said, "Well, then, you're  prince, now you can be a king! In you life" The monkey asked, "How can I be a king?"
When the dolphin began to move away, he replied: "It's easy, because you're the only creature on this island, you'll be naturally the king!"

Moral: Those who lie and boast can get into trouble.


4.The Boat | Moral Stories


A ship was destroyed during a storm at sea and only two of the men on board managed to swim to a small desert island.

Not knowing what else to do, the two survivors agreed that they had no choice but to pray to God. However, to know which prayer was the most powerful, they agreed to share the territory and stay on both sides of the island.(Moral Stories)

The first thing they prayed for was the food. The next morning, the first man saw a fruit tree on his side and managed to eat the fruit. The other man's land plot remained sterile.

After a week, the first man was alone and decided to pray for a woman. The next day another ship was shipwrecked and the only survivor was a woman who was swimming on her side of the earth. On the other side of the island there was nothing.(Moral Stories)

Soon, the first man prayed for a house, clothes, more food. The following day, as if by magic, all this was given to him. However, the second man still had nothing.

In the end, the first man prayed for a ship so that he and his wife could leave the island. In the morning he found a ship moored at his side of the island. The first man boarded the ship with his wife and decided to leave the second man on the island.

He considered the other man unworthy to receive God's blessings, none of his prayers were answered.

As the ship was about to leave, the first man heard a voice from the sky that echoed: "Why do you leave your partner on the island?"

"My blessings are mine, for I have prayed for this," said the first man. "His prayers were all unanswered and he deserved nothing".(Moral Stories)

"You are wrong!" the voice scolded him. "He only had a prayer to which I replied, otherwise you would not have received any of my blessings."

"Tell me, what did he pray" the first man asked,
The voice replied :"He prayed that all your prayers would be answered".

Moral: As far as we know, our blessings are not the fruit of our own prayers, but those of another who prays for us.


5.Think Before You Speak | Moral Stories



It was a sunny day, climate was nice. Everyone went to the station waiting for the train to arrive. Among the crowd there are group of friends, and  young people who are a board for the holidays.(Moral Stories)

It was a busy train station with a juice shop, restaurants and so on. prepared to get on the train in the appropriate place.

It's a group of friends making noise in the station. They ran for their reserved seats before getting on the train.
The empty seats were full and the train whistled to move. A man with a boy of about 15 years is taking the train. They entered the train and the train began to move. They have their own seats next to the group of friends.

His father smiled and nodded.

6.Good Human | Moral Stories


A doctor,  lawyer, boy and a priest were released Sunday afternoon on a small private plane. Suddenly, the plane had  problems in it's engine. Despite all the pilot's efforts, the plane began to descend. At the end, the pilot grabbed a parachute and shouted at the passengers that they would do better to jump and get free.

Unfortunately, there are only three parachutes were left.
The doctor took one of the parachute and said, "I'm a doctor, I'm saving lives, so I have to live for save more lives" and jumped.(Moral Stories)

And The lawyer said: "I'm a lawyer and lawyers are the smartest people in the world, I have to live." He also took one of the  parachute and jumped.

The priest looked at the boy and said: "My son, I have lived a long life, you are young and have all your life in front of you, take the last parachute and live in peace.
The boy handed the parachute to the priest and said, "Do not worry, Father. The smartest man in the world has just left with my backpack."

Moral: your work does not always define you, but being a good human being does it.


7.Be Positive | Moral Stories



Once upon a time there was a kingdom. The king had only one leg and one eye, but he was very intelligent and kind. All the inhabitants of his kingdom lived a happy and healthy life thanks to their king. One day, the king was walking in the corridor of the palace and saw the portraits of his ancestors. He thought that one day his children would walk in the same hall and remember all the ancestors through these portraits.(Moral Stories)

But the king did not have his painted portrait. Because of his physical disability, he did not know how his painting would take place. He therefore invited many famous painters from his kingdom and from other kingdoms to court. The king then announced that he wanted a beautiful portrait of himself to be placed in the building. Any painter capable of doing it should manifest itself. It will be rewarded according to the evolution of the painting.

All the painters began to think that the king had only one leg and one eye. How can you make your image very beautiful? This is not possible and if the image is not beautiful, the king will get angry and punish them. Then, one by one, everyone began to apologize and politely refused to paint the king.(Moral Stories)

But suddenly, a painter raised his hand and said I would make of you a beautiful portrait that you will surely love. The king became happy to hear it, and other painters became curious. The king gave him permission and the painter began to draw the portrait. He then filled the drawing with paint. In the end, after taking a lot of time, he said that the portrait was ready!

All the courtiers, other painters were curious and nervous. How can the painter make the portrait of the king beautiful because the king is physically handicapped? What if the king did not like the painting and got angry? But when the painter presented the portrait, everyone in the court, including the king, was amazed.

The painter made a portrait in which the king sat astride the horse, holding the bow and directing the arrow with one eye. The king was very happy to see that the painter had made a fine portrait by intelligently hiding the king's disadvantages. The king gave him a great reward.

Moral: we should always have a positive attitude towards others and ignore their weaknesses. We should learn to focus on good things instead of trying to hide weaknesses. If we think and approach positively even in a negative situation, then we can solve our problems more effectively.(Moral Stories)


8.Wooden Coffin | Moral Stories


A farmer has become so old that he can no longer work in the fields. So he spent the day sitting on the porch. His son, who still works on the farm, looks up from time to time and sees his father sitting there. " No additional want," the son told himself, "it doesn't matter!" One day, the son was so frustrated that he built a wooden coffin, dragged it under the porch, and invited his father to enter. Without saying anything, the father entered.

After closing the lid, the wires dragged the coffin to the edge of the farm where there was a high cliff. As he approached the drop, he felt a slight pressure on the lid from inside the casket. He opened it. Still lying silently, the father looked up at his son. "I know you're going to throw me over the cliff, but before you, can I suggest anything?" 'What is it?' his son replied.

"Throw me on the cliff if you want," said the father, "but apart from this beautiful wooden casket, your children might need to use it."

Moral: The karma comes from what do you do in others in life.


9.One Who Can Read The Future | Moral Stories



A man who lived a long time ago thought he could read the future in the stars. He was called an astrologer and spent the night staring at the sky. He was always worried about the future and the villagers often came to see him, hoping to know what their future was for them.

One evening he was walking along the road outside the village. His eyes were fixed on the stars. He thought he saw there that the end of the world was near. He lost his thoughts on the future. As he stared at the stars, he continued to walk without looking down. Suddenly he fell into a ditch filled with mud and water.(Moral Stories)

He plunged into the muddy water and was madly trying to scratch the slippery sides of the hole to try to get out. He was not able to crawl and fearing for his life, he started screaming for help. His calls for help quickly drove the villagers to run.

As they came out of the mud, one of them said, "You pretend to read the future in the stars, but you can not see what's on your feet!" This could teach you to pay more attention to what is right in front of you and let the future take care of itself. "(Moral Stories)

10.The Sage | Moral Stories


A sage crossed the capital of the famous king. As he walked, he noticed a single coin on the road. He picked it up. He was satisfied with his simple life and no longer needed this piece. So he designed to give it to the one who needs it. He walked the streets all day but found none. Finally, he reached the rest area and spent one night there.(Moral Stories)

The next morning, he wakes up in the morning for his daily activities and finds that a king is trying to invade another state while his army is ready for war. When the king saw the wise man standing, he ordered the stop of his army. He came to the wise and said, "Oh, great sage, I'm going to war to win another state so that my state can be expanded, so bless me to be victorious."

After thinking, Sage gave a coin to the king! The king was confused and annoyed by this because I use it for one piece while he is already one of the richest kings! He curiously asked a wise man: "What is the meaning of this piece?"

The Sage, he explained, "Oh, Great King, I found this piece yesterday as I was walking through the streets of your capital, but I did not use it, so I decided to give it to someone one in need, but I did not find any, everyone led a happy life, they seemed to be satisfied with what they had, so I did not find anyone to give this piece, but today , the king of this state always has the desire to make money, moreover and not satisfied with what he already has, I felt that you needed this piece ".(Moral Stories)

The king realized his mistake and renounced the planned war.

Moral: we should all learn to be happy with what we have. Yes, we all want more or better than we already have, but do not miss the opportunity to enjoy what you already have.
